Do you need a dumpster permit in Plano?

We did not find a published Plano permit rule for a roll-off on a private driveway. Plano contracts with Republic Services for commercial trash containers, and it registers recycling haulers separately. Before you book, confirm with Plano Public Works whether your project needs anything. Keep the container on your driveway, not the street.

Plano's commercial recycling registration costs $200 a year plus $12 per vehicle. The City says that registration cannot be used to collect solid waste.

Where does debris from Plano go?

Plano residents can schedule a Household Chemical Collection for paint and chemicals, or pick up donated products at the Household Chemical Reuse Center. For one or two large items, the City's bulky waste collection may be enough.

What can go in a dumpster

Should I use Plano's special paid bulky pickup or a roll-off for a remodel?

Plano says large amounts of remodel debris, usually from a contractor job, must go through its Bulky Waste Special Paid Collection. That service also covers extra yard trimmings and items set out on the wrong day. A roll-off is the other route. You fill it over a week, then we haul it and send the scale ticket with your invoice.

Which dumpster sizes deliver to Plano?

All five sizes deliver to Plano: 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40-yard. Each includes delivery, pickup, 7 days and 2 to 5 tons. Extra weight is $75 per ton, billed by the pound from the landfill scale ticket that comes with your invoice.

We deliver across Plano ZIP codes 75023, 75024, 75025, 75026, 75074, 75075, 75093, 75094. The run from our McKinney yard is about 17 miles. Tell us the exact drop spot when you book: driveway side, gate code, or anything low overhead. The driver texts or calls 20–30 minutes before arriving, so you don't need to wait at home.
